Your Ultimate Guide to Fun in the New Year.

As we enter the new year, San Diego is buzzing with exciting events for everyone to enjoy. From ongoing attractions to one-time festivals, there's something for kids, families, and adults. Let's dive into the January calendar to ensure you don't miss out on the fun!

This January, we have our usual stadium events of Monster Truck and Supercross, and the Padres' are hosting the first Rodeo at Petco Park. We have the other events typical of January, the Farmer's Insurance Open and the Bridal Bazar.

Outdoor Ice skating continues until January 7th at most locations, along with Sea World's Christmas Celebration, and if you still want some winter fun, there is the Poway Winter Festival and Disney on Ice.

Honor Martin Luther King and celebrate his legacy by attending the annual parade or celebration in his honor.

As always, there are runs or other ways to get active, like La Jolla's Polar Bear Swim. If you want outside adventure at a slower pace, check out the Wildlife Kayaking Eco Tour and "hunt" for sea turtles in South Bay.

I'm excited that the Van Gogh Experience is back in town from the end of January through April. I loved it so much last time, I will be bringing some friends again this year.

Wildlife Kayaking Eco Tour

Location: Bayside Park Chula Vista
