Alpine Events February 2024:
February is one of my favorite months, not necessarily because of the weather or events; it is mostly my birthday month. That being said, February is the month when we have the greatest chance of snowfall in our local mountains and even in Alpine. When I first moved back to Alpine as an adult in 2005, it seemed like every other year, we would have snow or almost snow, but this last decade, it doesn't seem to have blessed us that often. What is great is that when we do get it, it stays around just long enough to play in but does not have to be cleaned up.
This year is a leap year so February also has it's bonus day, so what will you do to make it count?
Another great reason to love February, besides Valentine's Day and now Galentines Day, is to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day and now Week. Random Acts of Kindness week starts on February 11 and ends on Random Acts of Kindness Day, February 17th.
This list of Alpine events will be updated as new events come in so check back to see more.
